This beautiful home, designed by award winning designer Michael E. Nelson, is an instant hit with its sleek lines, modern angled features and metal roof. The front exterior of this home is exceedingly welcoming with the angled 2-car garage and the inviting front porch. The wooden shutters also give an “at home” atmosphere to the house completing this welcoming look. Stepping inside the front covered porch you will find yourself in the spacious foyer with a beautiful 10 foot ceiling. To your left is a hallway with built in bookshelves for a great focal point and straight ahead you can catch a glimpse into the great room. From the foyer you also have access to bedroom 2, or the guest room, which has it’s own private ensuite bathroom and large closet. Heading into the great room you will find yourself in the wonderfully open corporate living spaces perfect for family time or gathering with friends and relatives. This open floor plan allows the kitchen, dining room and great room to flow together with out impeding walls. While these spaces do flow together you will not feel as though you are eating dinner “in the living room” as the dining area is located off the kitchen around the corner from the great room. This great room boasts a beautiful vaulted ceiling and a masonry wood fireplace. Both natural light and a wonderful view to the rear of the home are made available by large sliding glass doors which also serve as one of two entrances to the grilling porch, the other of which is from a door in the dining room. The island with a high bar is also a great amenity and is the best spot to grab a quick coffee and bite to eat before school or work. The attached dining room is also a great place to eat either a quick meal or a sit down family dinner without the stuffiness of a formal dining room. On this side of the home you will also find the spacious study which makes a great home office for those who need one or a great hobby room for those who don’t!
