I’ve always loved wildflowers and these were the most ever. The villa Lombardia was surrounded by flower fields and boasted breathtaking views across the valley. The sunsets were so magnificent that the town artists would sit for hours just to capture a few minutes on canvas. I never imagined that our home could bear a resemblance to that old villa that captured both our hearts. So each fall we added a few more bulbs in our rear courtyard enhancing our very own garden sanctuary.
