House Plan Description

Manson Manor II is a delightfully updated rendition of the 70s contemporary modern style. This home plan is 2,681 square feet with 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and one half-bath. With a covered front entry and rear covered outdoor living area, this low country prairie-style home features a charming exterior mix of brick and board and batten siding. Manson Manor II showcases dedicated space for planters and greenery in front and a spacious stone patio with a fireplace in the back. Exceptional natural lighting will highlight the gorgeous sunken floor in the Great Room for a unique callback to an older decade with all the modern amenities you crave!

Main Living Simplicity

Beginning on the front porch, you stand on the 8’ covered front porch. Brick columns line the porch for a private, intimate entryway. Passing the planter area, French doors open into the foyer. Manson Manor II brings the exterior elements indoors with a 24” high brick half-wall to create a separate space for the Great Room without losing the spacious open floor plan characteristics. The Great Room features a wonderful sunken floor space behind the brick half-wall. This small step down is a big showstopper! A fireplace on the right side of the Great Room lends to the intimacy of this space for cozy mornings and late-night social hours. The Great Room leads out onto the covered outdoor living area through wide patio doors. To the left of the Great Room is the kitchen and dining area. A small step up from the sunken floor Great Room leads you through a set of brick columns into the kitchen. Built-in shelves frame the brick columns for added storage space. The kitchen has room for a high-low island with additional seating for up to five friends and family. Ample counter space leaves room for a separate freezer, as well as your refrigerator. To the rear of the kitchen is the dining area. Large sets of windows overlook the stone patio and outdoor fireplace for a great view of your back property. A side entry to the covered outdoor living area on the right of the dining space makes grilling a breeze!

Master Suite Experience

Turning left from the foyer leads down a brief hallway passing the open entry to the kitchen. Across from the kitchen towards the front of the Manson Manor II house plan is the mudroom area. A built-in bench with hanging space makes for an easy drop-off station at the end of day. The half bath located here is ideal for a final look before starting your busy day and easy clean-up after yardwork. The mudroom includes a quick garage entry for fast exit and entry. Following through the mudroom leads you into the Laundry Room. Simplicity is key to making your chores a simple task with additional built-in shelves and counterspace for folding and organizing. The Laundry Room also leads in the Master Closet. A few simple steps from the washer to the Master Closet helps keep your space neat!

Passing the mudroom entry down the foyer hallway to the left of the home takes you to the Master Suite entrance. The Master Suite is a generously sized room for your prized bedroom set with plenty of room for additional comforts. At the rear of the Master Suite are patio doors leading to the stone patio and fireplace. Cozy cool nights in front of the fireplace can swiftly transition to an end-of-night relaxation in the Master Suite. Looking to the front of the Manson Manor II plan from the Master Suite is the Master Bath. Dual vanities separated by a linen closet mean no more arguing over counterspace! Both Master Suite residents have access to their own sink and mirror. The large enclosed shower rests next to a space dedicated for a free-standing tub. Relax your own way in this private oasis! Split Bedroom Design

Manson Manor II is a split bedroom home plan. Turning right from the foyer will take you to Bedroom 2, Bedroom 3, and the Guest Bedroom. Bedroom 2 sits at the front of this house plan. Front-facing windows bring in natural lighting and a lovely view of the neighborhood. This bedroom has a medium-sized step-in closet with plenty of storage room. Walking towards the rear of the home from Bedroom 2 leads to the 2nd full bath. This bathroom can be accessed from the brief hallway or from Bedroom 3. With a dual vanity and privately enclosed toilet and bath, this bathroom is designed as a community shared space. Bedroom 3 rests on the far right of the floor plan. Slightly smaller than Bedroom 2, this room has side windows to draw in natural lighting. Bedroom 3 has a large step-in closet for storage. Continuing to the rear of the house from the brief hallway, you end at the Guest Room. This can be used as a fourth bedroom or office. The Guest Room has rear-facing windows to look out upon the back property. A side entry open onto the covered outdoor living area. The Guest Room is the smallest of the three bedrooms. A full bath is adjacent to the Guest Room. Featuring a single vanity and built-in linen space, this bathroom also includes an enclosed shower. A large step-in closet with ample storage is nestled within the Guest Room

Outdoor Spaces

The large outdoor living area can be accessed from the Great Room, dining area, and the Guest Bedroom. This space is lined with brick column elements to unite the front exterior design with the rear of the home. As a covered space, the outdoor living area is ideal for socialization, patio tables, and iced drinks. This space leads to the stone patio and fireplace. The patio is not under the covered section which makes grilling and outdoor cooking perfect.
